Contemporary Russian Art in The Valentine Ryabov GalleryWelcome to the site of
the Valentine Ryabov Art Gallery!

Being especially interested in the formation and development of creative art in Russia, the Valentine Ryabov Gallery doesn’t single out priority stiles and trends, presenting artworks of the best, in our opinion, representatives of modern art. And these are: Tigran Agadjaniyan, Iliyas Aidarov, Dorofeyev Alexander Dorofeyev, Sergey Fedotov, Valery Goshko, Ekaterina Grigoryeva, Boris Ionaitis, Olga Karelits, Dmitriy Lastovin, Alexey Lubimkin,  Sergey Maximov, Stanislav Plutenko, Yuriy Romanov, Dmitry Sandzhiyev, Karakhan Saferbekov, Nikolay Silis, Sergey Shlyachkov, Sergey Sorokin, Alexander Suvorov, Vasiliy Vlasov and many others…

The Valentine Ryabov Gallery is not only a magnificent collection of painting, graphics, sculpture, photography, icons and handicrafts. Our art gallery is actively popularizing and developing modern art. The gallery regularly organizes exhibitions of contemporary Russian artists in the most well known and prestigious showrooms in Russia and abroad.

An important role in the development of modern fine arts in Russia is played by publishing activities. In the end of December 2008 the third book of the three volume edition «150 art works of contemporary Russian artists» was published. It presents reproductions of paintings, sculptures, graphics and photographs of prominent masters and young talented artists from different regions of the country. The originals of the artworks, published in the album, can be seen in the halls of the gallery.

The staff and artists of the gallery designed and decorated the interiors of the representative quarters of the residence of the Russian ambassador in South Korea, wrote articles and comments for profile mass media sources, participated in international exhibitions of contemporary art and many other projects.
