Graduated from the Art Department of the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. She is a member of the Moscow Union of Artists from 1993, a participant of numerous exhibitions. Her work is in private collections in Russia, USA, France, England, Germany and others.
Katherina loves horses and paints them since she can remember herself. As a child, she met with the legendary horse painter Alexey Voeikov. It was him, who first admired Katerina works and drew attention to the unusual, peculiar beauty of her paintings.
Most of the art critics qualify Katerina Uvarova as a romantic realist. Her urban landscapes, scenes of hunting, horse racing and animal portraits provides delicate lyricism and individual character.
